This is a tragedy of the highest magnitude...We at Nagel's offer our condolences to all involved. This is one of the saddest things I have ever seen....
We at Nagel's do not want to dissuade you form carrying your weapon of choice in your purse, but we do want to caution you to do so using a holster of some sort.
Many Ladies carry their pistols/ revolvers in their purse...great...just make sure you surround it with a holster or covering garment. Nagel's also has concealed carry purses available that have a specific compartment for your weapon.
It is important that we learn from our mistakes so as to prevent this type of Tragedy from ever happening again.
Nagel's PSA IV - Always use a Holster when you are carrying your sidearm, never let it just flop around unprotected.
